Illustration is an intuitive and internal process for me. When I draw, it is me, here and now, shaped as a person who constantly seeks new ways to express deep and important things, regardless of who will be the recipient of those ideas wrapped in lines and colors. Drawing is my meditation.
Biography
Natalia Łukomska is an illustrator and graphic designer whose work focuses on children’s books, cultural events, and book design. In her personal projects, she emphasizes women, the female body, and emotions as reflections of everyday life. She has illustrated over fifteen children’s books and created visual identities for festivals, including ArtArea in Skopje and the Silesian Science Festival in Katowice, Poland. She collaborates with publishing houses and cultural institutions in North Macedonia and Poland. A linguist by profession, she teaches Polish language at the Faculty of Philology “Blaze Koneski,” Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
