Writing for children is magical, responsible, and always full of surprises. I am grateful that life has led me on this journey, because it allows me to remain a child in the big, gloomy adult world.

Outstanding title:

A picture book in which knitting is not just a skill but also an act of caring for the community. A fox is portrayed as a symbol of solidarity among forest animals; instead of being a trickster, she is a knitter who weaves clothes for the entire forest from her own tail. A story about friendship, care, empathy, and the love of creating.

Latest title:

A picture book born from a bedtime story invented for Ana’s child, which later became a social media post and, five years after that, turned into a tangible picture book about the seven “Nadwarflings” (Nadwarf, the nickname of Nadja, the daughter). It is a story for every child and their uniqueness, a tale of bringing differences together under one sky, in one little house that holds a secret.
