Children’s stories should be as true and honest as the ones we tell adults. Giving them good stories in childhood is the best thing we can do for the adults they will become.

Outstanding title:
SHEILA (2022)

A warm picture book about the path to happiness of a shy girl. By making dolls, Sheila cuts and sews the world to the measure of happiness we all strive for. “Sheila” is a literary-artistic world, written, drawn and sewn to support perseverance, patience and self-confidence in children. At the same time, it revives the wonderful, forgotten world of handicraft.
