In Krstevski’s short stories we can recognize Harmsian burlesque scenes and characters, Borgesian complex labyrinthine landscapes, as well as a handful of characters lost in a Kafkaesque world of metamorphoses, bureaucratic counters and an insensitive world.

Outstanding and latest title:
THE OTHER SIDE (2019)

“The other side” is a collection of short stories by the author Gjorgji Krstevski, created over several years. They are of different size and shape, while each of the stories is an individual work, a story that builds its own specific world that can survive and exist independently. The central point, the star around which all these small worlds gravitate and the vector of their connection is the worldview of Gjorgi Krstevski. In the rich spectrum of short stories we can recognize Harmsian burlesque scenes and characters, Borgesian complex labyrinthine landscapes, echoes of the darkest forests from the Grimm brothers’ fairy tales, as well as a handful of characters lost in a Kafkaesque world of metamorphoses, bureaucratic counters and an insensitive world.
