Biography
Gorjan Petrevski (1951, Mrenoga) is a renowned Macedonian writer for children and young adults. He has published numerous books of prose, poetry, and plays, many of which have become classics in children’s literature. His works are characterized by warmth, imagination, and a deep understanding of childhood. Petrevski has received several national awards and is included in school curricula. Translated into multiple languages, his stories continue to inspire young readers across generations, making him one of the most influential voices in contemporary Macedonian children’s literature.
