I strive for simplification of forms; I want my drawings to be close to the immediacy of children, something they themselves might create if they were illustrators.
Biography
Ivanka NiBa graduated at the Faculty of Fine Arts at “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University, in the class of Prof. Tanas Lulovski and Blagoja Manevski, Department of Painting with Graphic Design, Conservation, and Restoration. She has worked for about 20 years as a graphic designer, head of a graphic design department, and part of market ing teams in various settings and companies. Since 2018, she has been actively engaged in children’s illustration. As an illustrator, she has contributed to more than 25 picture books for both domestic and international markets, in print and digital editions. She is also the manager of the publishing house “Svetulka”, which focuses on children’s literature.
