Biography

Dejan Sibinovski, also known as Sibo, is a writer, lyricist, musician, and director. He is the recipient of the award for Best Fairy Tale in the “Fairy Tales from Macedonia” competition, the “Pegasus” award for the best unpublished novel in 2022 for the novel “The Green Castle”, and was a finalist for the “Novel of the Year” award the same year. His first published book is the short stories collection “Humaneness” (2019). He writes screenplays, short stories, and novels.

Outstanding and latest title:

“The Green Castle” is a novel – a time machine through the history of the city of Skopje and its transformation in the twenties and sixties of the last century, and in the present. In the background of the urban changes of the city driven by various human and natural influences, Petar a middle aged man and a contemporary scientist feels as if he does not belong to the time in which he lives and experiences unusual events that encourage him to deepen the idea of the existence of parallel universes. Attracted by a vague inner force, he comes to the house palace in the Crniche neighborhood in Skopje, built in the twenties of the 20th century on the then outskirts of the city Legend has it that the house was haunted and cursed, but for Peter it will be the starting point for his next journey.
