I’ve been drawing since I was little. I used to draw wherever I could—on the margins of books, in some notebooks from the Bitola Monopoly where the tobacco harvest was recorded, and in school notebooks. I always planned to become an illustrator and never even thought about doing anything else.
Biography
Mihajlo Dimitrievski, a.k.a. The Micho, is one of the most prominent Macedonian comic artists and illustrators, with great success in the global board game and comic book industry. On the domestic scene, he is known as the creator of characters from the popular children’s project “Pet+ Family” and as the art director of “Bibi’s World”, a multimedia project that includes books, picture books, cartoons, toys, board games, and more. Internationally, he is recognized for illustrating characters for the board game based on the popular series “Game of Thrones”. He is also the author of the book “Quarantine Chronicles”, featuring illustrations drawn daily during the COVID-19 lockdown, and the art director of the first feature-length 2D animated Macedonian film, “John Vardar vs. The Galaxy”.
