Biography

Vasil Mukaetov (1942, Kavadarci) is a prolific Macedonian author of children`s literature. Active since the 1960s, he has contributed to numerous magazines such as Drugarče, Kolibri, Razvigor, and Zvezdi. Mukaetov is a member of the Writers` Association of Macedonia and has been honored with the Vanco Nikoleski Award for his poetry collection Skokni – preskokni (2017). With over 17 published books, including We on the Sidewalks, on the Boulevards (2019), he continues to inspire young readers with his engaging and heartfelt works.
