Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. He is actively engaged in periodicals with many critiques and reviews in the fields of literature, music and film. In the last twenty years, as co-owner and editor in the \u201cIli-Ili\u201d publishing house, he openly participates and creates the literary scene in Macedonia. He is a member of the Society of Writers of Macedonia, PEN centre and the International Association of Film Critics FIPRESCI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His official debut as a writer was in 2006 with the short story collection \u201cMeek stories\u201d (2006), some of whose stories were published in a few literary magazines in the Balkans. His novels \u201cOff-road\u201d (2010) and \u201cPhoto synthesis\u201d (2013) had an excellent widespread reception and several re-editions. In the \u201cpandemic\u201d times, his novel \u201cShrapnel\u201d (2020) was published, as well as new collection of short stories \u201cDouble Exposure\u201c (2022). In post-pandemic times, he published the novels \u201eMina\u201c (2023) and \u201eVetrilishte\u201c (2024).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Angjelkov is known for his film commentary in the media as the author of the film radio show \u201cREDRUM\u201d on Kanal 103 (1997-2003)&nbsp; and of the film magazine \u201eFilmopolis\u201d on TV Telma (2003-2014). From 2018 he has been the program selector of the International Film Festival \u201eKineNova\u201c Skopje. This novel takes place during one day and night (or not even that much!) in the life of Boris, or if you prefer, of the Writer. <br><br>It is not experimental in form, but flows classically, from beginning to end, without any deviations from the planned order, unless one takes into account the constant reflections and reminiscences regarding the things that happen around the main protagonist, which skillfully intertwine the past, the present and the future, which makes things uncertain. The edition begins with the treatment of Macedonian cinematography in this period, followed by a look at European and American cinematography over the past few years, and then the section on film festivals.
