Their love is strange, wonderful and unbelievable, because it is happening through the optical sights of snipers and lasts only as long as one and the other bullet fly to one or to the other bank of the river. The only thing that marks the left or right bank of the river, is the shadow of the mosque, or the shadow of the church. The novel is an exciting story about life and death, the meaning and the meaninglessness of war, love and hatred, the very act of victory or defeat.

No. of pp: 294

Awards and honors:

The Novel of the Year Award for 2007

“Stale Popov” Award for Best Prose from the Society of Writers of Macedonia for 2007

“Prize of Appreciation” given by the City of Skopje

Rights sold to:

Serbia, Poland, Italy, England, Armenia and Slovenia.

Latest title:

IF SOME FEELINGS ARE BORN (2023)

Historiographical metafiction novel about the unjudged love between the revolutionary Gotse Delchev and his fiancée Janka Kanevce.
