Her novels are characterized by the strong psychologization of the characters.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biography<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Frosina Parmakovska<\/strong> was born in Skopje, 1985. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology \u201cBlaze Koneski\u201d, at the Department of General and comparative literature, in Skopje. She graduated with a master degree at the Institute of Macedonian literature, on the topic \u201cVariations of magical realism in world and Macedonian novel\u201d. In 2015, her thesis was published in Skopje by the publishing house \u201cIli-Ili\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She has published short stories in Macedonian and foreign literature magazines. Her first novel \u201cWriting the Lost Spheres\u201d was released in 2013, by the publishing house \u201cKultura\u201d. In 2014, her second novel \u201cSour-Cherry Chronicle\u201d came out, published by \u201cIli-Ili\u201d and it was a finalist for the most prestigious literature award in Macedonia, Novel of the Year in organization of the magazine \u201cUtrinski vesnik\u201d. This novel is translated into Bulgarian and Ukrainian. Her third novel \u201cCountdown\u201d was released in 2017, published by \u201cIli-Ili\u201d. With this novel, she won the Novel of the Year Award for 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2018, Parmakovska received the award for Most successful author between two book fairs, organized by the Macedonian Association of Publishers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, her novel \u201cOn the way back\u201d (Ili-Ili) was published and soon after it was translated into Bulgarian. Her latest novel, \u201cI Can Still Do Something&#8221;, was published in 2023 (\u201cIli-Ili\u201d). Through a procedure of intertextuality, several chapters are written by another character, serving as puzzle pieces.
