Biography<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Bistra Georgieva is a sociologist, writer, and cultural manager. As a children\u2019s author, Georgieva gained international recognition with A Giant Fantasy Shop, created in collaboration with renowned Spanish illustrator M\u00f3nica Carretero and published in Spain, Latin America, and the USA. She is also the author of the Stella & Sunny series. Each story of this edition opens a gentle door to learning \u2013 exploring shapes and colors, celebrating differences, and navigating imagination, emotions, and even fears. Thoughtfully crafted, every book offers a subtle lesson wrapped in a world of wonder. Her latest book is Hotel Popitop<\/em>, the first Macedonian picture book co-written with 34 children. Her books have received several national awards from the Macedonian Publishers Association, including Best Children\u2019s Book in 2019 and 2023, and prizes for creativity and innovation in children\u2019s literature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
